HIGHER EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM

 

The HEGP is a supplemental assistance program funded through the BIA. Priority: Kiowa students pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college. Must apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Financial Student Assistance) ehich can be done at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov or by application from any college Financial Aid or High School Counselor’s Office.

Required HEGP documents include: (CLICK ON EACH FORM TO DOWNLOAD)

*Completed HEGP Application, Signed and dated.

*Verification of Enrollment Form, For continuing students who received a grant and plan to continue on to the Spring Semester. Sign the Release of Information portion and deliver it to the Financial Aid Administrator, Registrar or some other school official to complete before submitting it to the Higher Education Office.

*Financial Needs Analysis Form, Complete Part I and deliver to Financial Aid Office. The FAO will complete Part II and return it to the Higher Education Program Office. No grants are rewarded without this form.

*Information Sheet, Information about the HEGP important to remain eligible. Sign, date and return with application.

Also supply copies of the following:

Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood
High School Diploma
College Transcript (if applicable)

Letter of Acceptance (from college of choice)
